Just want to give you a brief summary of our meet. We went to Prineville and had the following students
quizzing:
HIGH SCHOOL: Matt Ceiplis, Kevin Bowles, Ross Martinson, Kelsey Short, Brittany Short, Shannon Bowles
MIDDLE SCHOOL: Nate Stone, Bradley Sever, Tyler Short, Denton Downer, Victoria Fitzsimmons,
Tiffany Wonderly, Victoria King, Lexi Ramsey, Sophie Showers, Jessica Knight
Of special note: MATT received the spirit award-given to the quizzer who demonstrates the best attitude,
and demeanor of the quiz. He was chosen by the coaches from all
quizzers (over 80) attending the meet. He also was the 7th best quizzer in his division.
KEVIN received a Master Memory award for memorizing the first 8 chapters of
1 Corinthians-word perfect. He also was top quizzer for the meet.
SHANNON received an award from memorizing the 32 required memory verses-
word perfect. She also was the 3rd best quizzer in her division.
NATE STONE AND
TYLER SHORT both received awards for memory work.
We are thankful the time all of our quizzers have spent studying God's Word and being a part of a great
QUIZ TEAM. We want to thank you, as their pastors, for your support, encouragement and prayer
for each of them (as well as for us.)
We look forward to our next meet in Coquille November 7th.
